HRH Duke of Kent Visited Cranfield today to offiicially open the new Intelligent Moility Engineering Centre, the top floor of which hosts two of our demonstration simulation rooms.

Cranfield’s Motorsport Open Wheel Simulator with state-of-the-art sustained g cueing technology was driven by Advanced Motorsport Engineering MSc student Goffredo Pirro, whose father Emanuele Pirro won the Le Mans 24 Hours race on five occasions and drove in Formula One.

We also were visited by future engineers from local schools who had a tour of the building, some of whom (if they could reach the pedals) were able to have a short go in the Radical RXC chassis simulator.
