Cranfield hosted an interactive simulator test session for the MIA Race School of Engineering.

The students were involved the session with GP3 driver Joey Mawson in the simulator. The group were able to listen in to the communications between driver and race engineer (Rik Kasius) through our intercom system with loud speaker output, as well as observe live telemetry screens.

After looking through the MoTec data files and taking on board Joey’s feedback the group were able to tune the car setup and improve the lap time by nearly 2 seconds!
